Jan V. Roy began her career as a silk screen artist, well known for her use of bold graphic color, the iconic black cat, and her 19-year involvement with the Massachusetts Horticultural Society, as well as the Portland Symphony Orchestra and the New England Conservatory. She now works as a oil and acrylic painter at either her studio in Haverhill, MA or her home in Newburyport, MA.
